There are a few restaurant's walking distance like Frisch's, Perkins, waffle house and Skyline. If you just want a clean bed, indoor pool and free simple breakfast, this met the requirements. The older gentleman behind the desk was much more friendly but pretty much the same. The front desk staff was a young woman, she wasnt friendly but wasnt mean either, she was straight faced and to the point. The room was clean and smelled like lemon cleaner when we arrived. The pool was clean and basic 3ft to 5ft, nothing fancy. The juice is watered down and they also have a sign that says you cannot take breakfast back to your room or you will be charged $50, which i thought was ridiculous but it is what it is. The breakfast was simple bagels, cereal, toast and sausage gravy with biscuits. It was clean and had a refrigerator and microwave, which worked well. Our room was on the first floor across from the indoor pool. I really dont understand the low ratings. I took my son for a quick weekend getaway. If you haven’t booked a set entry time, you may be asked to come back later. During peak hours, there’s sometimes a “timed-ticket policy,” with entry times booked in advance online. Opening hours are seasonal, so check the website for exact times. The aquarium, café and gift shop are open daily. If you are driving here on a weekend, consider visiting in the afternoon or at night as the paid car park fills up quickly in the mornings. The TANK shuttle bus from downtown Cincinnati stops near the complex.
